Gold and silver at the MUSE awards

At the American Alliance of Museum’s MUSE awards, our intimate “Through the Eyes of Love” location awareness soundwalk for the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art won the Gold for best Audio Experience. Guiding visitors through 15 artworks, spanning Impressionism, Pop Art and contemporary conceptual works, the tour explores the all-consuming power of love. For a run down of the story-led work we’ve been doing with Nelson-Atkins, take a look at this case study.

Our work to bring Michael Nichols’ expressive photos to life for children at the Philadelphia Museum of Art was also awarded Silver at the MUSE awards. The fascinating Wild tour centres around children interviewing the artist about the stories behind each piece. Runner up and honourable mention at the GLAMIs

In the Museum-Wide Guide or Program category of the GLAMi awards at Museums and the Web, our work to encourage the next generation of film directors at the Deutsches Filmmuseum claimed a runner up spot. We worked with young people for two years to develop the multimedia tour, where visitors can try on Darth Vader’s helmet, take a selfie with Jack Skellington, or dance across the rooftops of Paris. The good news didn’t stop there, with our Nelson-Atkins tour also receiving an honorable mention at the prestigious GLAMIs.
