This year’s hotly anticipated Museum Computer Network conference is rapidly approaching. The Listening Lounge is a drop-in chill space with low lights, comfy chairs, a quiet vibe, multiple sets of Bluetooth headphones, and curated playlists, much like a “Silent Disco.” MCN participants can enter at any time between sessions, meetings, or just when they need to take a break, close their eyes and open their ears.

This Lightening Talk covers the tech, the storymaking, and the results of long-form audio experiment, “Through the Eyes of Love” – an immersive soundwalk that upends traditional audio tours by combining the latest indoor-positioning technology with a new approach to storymaking.
