The Thomas Edison National Historic Park houses a vat collection of over 300,000 items and archives of approximately 5,000,000 documents all related to the career of Thomas Edison: his inventions, his career in business and manufacturing and his personal life. The collection is housed at Glenmont, Edison’s Estate and his laboratory complex, the places that Edison worked and lived from 1886 -1931. The Park also includes a Natural History Collection of plant specimens from the Glenmont Estate.
