SPL MuséoParc Alésia is believed to be the site on which the Romans defeated the Gauls in 52 BC. It is an interpretation centre, with displays of replica war engines and battle re-enactments. The archaeological museum recreates the lives and culture of people through the interpretation of the remains of the Gallo-Roman town.
